As an ex-teacher from Albania. I think that the role of the teacher is to pass information on the students, helping their knowledge increase. And preparing them to think about themselves. This role of the teacher should be combined with that of a parent. _前缀“ex”常用于表示过去拥有的工作、关系。比如，某人已不再是政客或警察了，我们可以说：brick砖to hit a brick wall撞砖墙。它意味着你不能取得任何进展。例如，当你发现要从一个大公司获得信息是不可能的，你可能就放弃了，并说“I’ve hit a brick wall. 我撞砖墙了！”就是说我没法取得任何进展的意思。
