2006 Enorth—BBC English University Tour Ended

2006 Enorth—BBC English University Tour was held in Nankai University and Tianjin University on the evening of 29th and 30th Mar. Alison Konieczny and Diarmuid Mitchell, teachers from BBC Learning English Department, delivered excellent seminars about British culture and British language to the Chinese English Learners. Andrew, Head of BBC Learning English, Sarah Morgan, New Media Account Manager, and Li Wen, China Business Development Manager also attended the seminar. On the seminar held on 30th Mar, the big prize laureate of the BBC Online Competition, which had been held from 16th Mar to 26th Mar, was drawed out.

Seminars were held successfully. Not only told students how to learn english, but also Alison and Diarmuid challenged the “Word Master”, a new subject of BBC Learning English, with all the audiences.

Challenge WordMaster

On the second seminar, which was held on 30th Mar in Tianjin University, Andrew, Head of BBC Learning English, drawed out the top winner of BBC Online Competition. A laptop, branded Apple, was awarded to the winner.
