With the theme of "Deepen the Bohai Sea Rim Region Cooperation", under new situations advancing the strategy for Economic Cooperation of Bohai Sea Rim Region is to be discussed and boosting the development of Bohai Sea Rim Region will be promoted on this seminar.

1st China Port City Mayors Summit Forum

The 1st China Port City Mayors Summit Forum is of great realistic significance to advance the port logistics service function of tianjin and establish tianjin as the central place of International Shipping. Aiming at "Economic Globalization and Strategic challenge for China Port City", many topics such as how to carry out the developing and scientific theory on economy of port city and how to learn the management experience from foreign port cities will be discussed on the summit forum.

3,000 booths will be set in the conference which include such three parts as the economic cooperation & investment negotiation, commodities show & trade, talent & intelligence introduction and exchange.

1300 booths for the economic cooperation & investment negotiation part will be set in Tianjin International Exhibition Center, comprised of Tianjin, cities and enterprises in the Bohai Sea rim area, cities and enterprises in other parts of China and foreign companies and institutions.

1080 booths for Tianjin Exhibition area focus on showing the 11th Five-Year Plan, exploitation and rebuild of Haihe and delvelopment of Binhai New Area. 216 booths for Binhai New Area is to be set among the 1080 booths, showing the serving function for the development of Bohai Sea Rim Regional Economy and introducing the advantage of production, researching, shipping, logistics, information and travelling,etc. There are 120 booths for cities of Bohai Sea Rim exhibition area, plus 2 special areas. One is for the investment negotiation of Bohai Sea Rim cities, the other is for showing the enterprises in Bohai Sea Rim Region.

100 booths is to be set for foreign companies and institutions.

Among the part of commodities show & trade, there are 9 industries: electronic home appliance, clothing & dress, tropical fruit & food, Olympic commodities, folk-custom and cultural commodities, automobiles and decorations, commodities from HK, Macao and other provinces and cities in the mainland of China, and the products related to financial services.
