Natural Environment

Located in the Shore of Bohai of North China alluvial plain,Dagang Economic Development Area has an even land at an altitude of 3.4-3.95meters above the elevation of Dgu.It has an ideal geologic structure and its land-bearing capacity is 0.08-0.1pa.2. Dagang Economic Development Area is located in the southeast suburb of Tianjin,also in the Tianjin New Cosatal Region.It is 38kilometers away from the center of Tianjin,35kilometers away from Tianjin Airport,and 25kilometers away from Tianjin New Harbor.

(1) Highway:To the west of DEDA,there are two state standard roads,Tianjin-Qikou highroad and Tianjin-Dagang hithroad,both leading to the center of Tianjin directly.To the east of DEDA,there lies Dagang-Tanggu hithroad,linking DEDA directly with Tianjin New harbor.All highroads around the area connecting with the sate-highway make the communication convenient.

(2) Railway:Liqizhuang-Xingang rail line runs through DEDA,and leads to Tianjin New Harbor.It is connected with jingshan Line,Jinghu Line,Jingjiu Line and Jingha Line.

(3) Sea Transportation:Tianjin New Harbor(Xingang),owing is the biggest general cargo seaport in North China,with own 61 passengers and wagon berth and annual handling capacity of more then nearly 60 million tons.

(4) Air Line:The Capital International Airport and Tianjin International Airport are separately 165kms and 38kms apart from DEDA,connected by Jing-jin-Tang expressway,2hours and 40minutes can be spend respectively by driving car.
