Presently, the water supply station deliveries 4500 barrels of purified water to 21 towns’ 155 villages in this district. About 18 thousand farmers can drink the safe and purified “healthy water”.

According to the Planning of Tianjin Rural Drinking Water Safety and the Renovation Planning of Pipeline Network Inlet, the government will attach great attention to solve 18 million farmers’ drinking water problems. A water supply station with production capacity 900 barrels per hour has been established in the north area rich in qualified water resources. After the completion, it will provide drinking water with 21 towns’ 155 villages in this district. Meanwhile, according to household registration system, every household will be given one set of water dispenser and two barrels. Every village has one water supply site. So far, the first batch of rural drinking water safety project has provided the farmers with 53541 sets of water dispensers and 100 thousand of barrels. There are 155 village-level water supply sites in this district. During the dispatch of the barreled water, this district adopts the ration system on water purchase. It not only safeguards the safety of the rural drinking water’s quality but also ensure the sound development of the water supply station.
