As one of key engineering of Binhai New Area, the hydraulic engineering of 300,000-ton crude oil dock of Tianjin Port is basically completed at present. Large-sized equipment will be delivered to the crude oil dock in succession in this April, then the engineering will go to the stage of equipment installation.
The engineering of 300,000-ton crude oil dock of Tianjin Port lasted for two years. Currently, it accumulatively completed 740m yuan of investment, taking up 53.6% of total investment. The engineering mainly includes dock hydraulic work, land area rack, dredging, and equipment procurement and installation. The berth is as long as 468m, including six mooring dolphins, two fender dolphins, one operational platform, and auxiliary building area platform in the shape of a butterfly. The dock frontal channel is designed 25m in depth, capable of holding 100,000~300,000-ton large-sized crude oil ships, with an annual throughout of 20,000,000 tons. The pipe laying from the dock to tank area is as long as 13.5km. Imported crude oil is unloaded by ship dump and transported through loading arm and two pipe layings on the dock to the oil tank area in Nanjiang Port Area.
At present, the dock hydraulic engineering is basically completed, while the comprehensive office building on the auxiliary building area is in the process of wall construction, internal and external decoration preparation. The 13.5km pipe laying is laid out totally and welded by 70%. The engineering will be completed in this August and put into trial operation in early September. At the time, it will not only offer service for the 1,000,000-ton ethylene project of Sinopec as well as four large oil refining enterprises in North China, but also uplift the regional driving force of Binhai New Area.
