(Enorth.com.cn)Tamfelt Papermaking Facility Manufacturing Base invested by Tamfelt Corporation was unveiled in the Tianjin Airport Industrial Park of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone (TPFTZ) in October. At the opening ceremony, Liu Changxi, vice chairman of Tianjin People’s Political Consultative Conference, met Antti Kuosmanen, Finnish ambassador to China, and a director of Tamfelt.

Liu Changxi extended welcome to Antti Kuosmanen and the director of Tamfelt and congratulated the opening of the papermaking facility project. He said Tianjin and Finland have established a friendly partnership of exchanges and cooperation and maintained a good momentum of developing cooperation in trade and culture fields. Currently, Tianjin is speeding up the development and opening up of BNA and pushing for building a modern manufacturing and R&D base. The Tamfelt papermaking facility manufacturing base is a crucial achievement made by both sides in the hope of further expanding cooperative fields, enhancing cooperation level and making reciprocal benefit.

Finland Tamfelt Corporation is one of world-class suppliers of special textiles, and netting and filtering tools for papermaking machines. It has a history of more than 200 years. Its main customers involve leading paper mills, pulp mills, mining fields, chemical companies and other environmental technological enterprises. it invested ?15.5 million to build a 22,000-square-meter papermaking facility manufacturing base in the airport processing area. The phase I is estimated to produce 50 million yuan after put into production.
