(Enorth.com.cn)Yesterday afternoon, the Administrative Committee of Tianjin Hi-tech Industry Park(THIP) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Peking University Research Institute of High-Tech Zones and both parties will conduct all-round cooperation in such fields as talent cultivation and achievement commercialization. The Administrative Committee of THIP has also signed a cooperative agreement on jointly building the post-doctoral innovation base with the Peking University Administrative Committee of Post-Doctoral Researchers.
Huang Xingguo, deputy secretary of Tianjin Committee of CPC and Tianjin mayor, met Li Yining, member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People¡¯s Political Consultative Conference, deputy director of the Finance and Economy Committee of the National People¡¯s Congress and president of Peking University Research Institute of High-Tech Zones. Huang welcomed the visit of professor Li and his party on behalf of Tianjin Committee of CPC and Tianjin Municipal People¡¯s Government. Both parties also conducted an in-depth exchange on boosting the development of high-tech industries and intensifying the co-operations.
Deputy mayor Wang Zhiping and secretary-general of the municipal government Li Quanshan also were also presented at the meeting.
According to the agreement signed between both parties, Peking University Research Institute of High-Tech Zones will establish a branch in Binhai New Area to boost the commercialization of the research achievements and Peking University will jointly cultivate such high-level innovative talents with Binhai New Area.
